Thank You for these wonderful Videos, I lived in Scottsdale and worked at Scottsdale Memorial Hosp. 1992 to 1994. I hiked Echo Canyon Park Trail 2 to 3 x a week. I went to Squaw Peak also, but Echo Canyon trail was my favorite. It was close to where I lived and a good work out.
The first time I went up Echo and got to the area of the poles I was amazed, “ITS STEEP and ROCKY!” It was less than 1.5 miles, but its almost a straight up angle AW-SOME!.
Then on the way down one should take care as not to let your legs wobble and run away with you, and then fall and CRACK your little head.
Thank you very much for the video it was like memory lane. I hope your video inspires more hikers to Echo Canyon Trail. The view is worth the effort!
